We have come to the end of another fantastic Cork fashion week organised by the fabulous Vivienne and Emer from Lockdown models. They put so much hard work and effort into the week and it really paid off. There was some amazing events organised throughout the week to show off this years collections from Cork boutiques and shops. It is now in its 9th successful year and really showcases the best of Irish style.
To kick off the week the opening event was ‘A celebration of Irish Design’. This took place at the 5 star Castlemartyr resort. We got to see some amazing designers collections and it really did showcase the best of Irish design. Our jewellery and headpieces were worn on the night to compliment some of the designers collections. The enthusiasm on the night was amazing! ❤ The collections displayed showcased the sheer talent of the designers.
Each person attending the fashion shoe even got a great goodie bag with amazing bits and bobs and they even got a handmade brooch from Azure 😉 Make up on the night was done by the talented Lola Desmond and her team and photography by Steve Savage. There was also some other big names there too including Cork blogger Material Boy and RTE’s Brendan Courtney. What a fantastic night was had
Then to wrap up CFW we attended another amazing event. This showcased the Autumn/Winter collections now available in local stores around Cork. Some of the boutiques included Blush Boutique, Vanilla, our own Azure Jewellery and many more. Dj of the night was the wonderful Stevie G. The event took place in St. Peter’s on north main street and the venue was so magical. Emer and Viv really did put on a great show. We luckily got to showcase our new range of jewellery at the event also and the pieces went down a treat 😉
